Thank you for visiting What Should They Wear, I started this blog, back when it was If I Was A Stylist, in the summer of 2011 because I love sharing the ideas I have in my brain. When I watch a fashion show or see who is nominated, presenting, performing, or just attending different events the possibilities run rampant in my mind. I use this as a creative outlet to share a little of what goes on in my mind.

I fell in love with the styling aspect of fashion in 2008 when BRAVO premiered ‘The Rachel Zoe Project.’ Watching Rachel and her assistants create the looks for Hollywood’s elite for events like the Academy Awards, the Cannes Film Festival, the MET Ball, and movie premieres. It opened me to a world that I didn’t really knew existed. For the longest time I wanted to move to NYC or LA and pursue a career in the field.

I always felt that I would go into the fashion industry and as I always thought I would design, but I can not sew to save my life even after several lessons and attempts. So when I found the styling career path I thought that what I was born to do. I have a degree from Florida Gulf Coast University where I studied Communication with a Public Relations concentration. While I didn’t end up persuing the career in styling it remains a passion of mine. While I never broke into the fashion industry I do work a full time job as a director of marketing for a professional skincare line, so I am still involved in beauty for my career. This site is really just a passion project for me; an outlet where I can let my creative juices flow.
